Origin64 Privacy Policy

Origin64 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates origin64.com. This policy outlines how we handle your information—specifically the biological code you entrust to us. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. THE INCINERATION STANDARD (DNA SECURITY)

Your raw genetic data files (“DNA Data”) are treated as temporary fuel, not permanent assets.

Zero Permanent Storage: Once your DNA Data has been processed to generate your 24-page bespoke magazine, the raw source file is purged from our active systems. We do not keep a "backup" of your biology.

No Data Monetization: We will never sell, lease, or share your genetic data with pharmaceutical companies, insurance providers, or research databases. We sell insights to you, not your data to them.

Purpose-Bound: Your DNA Data is used exclusively to generate the specific artifacts you purchased.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

Contact & Billing: Name, email, and billing address to ensure your magazine actually reaches you.

Financials: Payment details are handled securely via Shopify Payments. We don’t see or store your credit card number.

Technical Data: IP addresses and browser types to keep the site functional and secure.

3. USE OF INFORMATION

We use your information to fulfill your order (generating your 24-page Blueprint), communicate with you, and prevent fraudulent transactions.

4. THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURE

We only share information with essential service providers, such as Shopify (our host) and our specialized printing partners, strictly to fulfill your order. We will only disclose data to legal authorities if presented with a valid subpoena—though, since we delete your DNA data almost immediately, there is usually nothing left for them to see.

5. RETENTION

DNA Data: Purged immediately following the successful generation and delivery of your report.

Order History: We retain your contact info and transaction history for tax purposes and business records.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal information at any time. To exercise these rights, or to ask us a technical question about your data, contact support@origin64.com.

7. SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures. However, because the internet is inherently "leaky," we encourage you to use secure channels and keep your DNA files encrypted until upload.
